We are…

Awakening Into the Sun is more than a nonprofit — we’re a gathering of hearts and souls dedicated to helping each other grow, heal, and shine. We believe that small moments of joy—breathing together in yoga, dancing under the sun, connecting with a maker at our market—can spark something much bigger. Our mission is to awaken people through uplifting experiences, inspiring lifelong learning, and nourishing wellbeing—so each person can live more fully, more joyfully, more vibrantly.

We’re committed to positive transformation: providing safe, inclusive spaces for self-discovery, offering opportunities to explore art, movement, wellness, and connection, and supporting local artists, healers, and small businesses in sharing their gifts. Vendor or Weekender, everyone’s journey is welcome here.

    Since 2012, we have held an annual two-day health and wellness festival that merges live music and entertainment with mindful yoga and an indie market comprised of local health and wellness professionals, artists, makers, small businesses, entrepreneurs and community members. 

    We converge on downtown St. Pete’s waterfront every spring for a weekend of peace, love and community engagement in the Florida sunshine.
